Gator is doing amazing as a guide horse. Jason keeps telling me he needs another two with Gator's disposition. Everyone loves him and he can do no wrong with the guys in camp, they just keep loving on him...
Just wanted to let you know she is amazing. I have raced her 3 times and her 3rd race took 2nd and was in the money. I truly love this horse she never stops to amaze me she always gives her all and above. Thank you so much. ( after her purchase of Wyo Missy Windsong)
We have purchased two exceptional horses from Andi and Ryan. They spent the time to help us determine what we were looking for in a horse and they did an exhaustive search to find the best match. These horses have far exceeded our expectations and we would not have found them without the expertise that they offers!
I worked with Andi and Ryan to find the kindest and most pure hearted horse that I have ever seen. They helped me start my ranch and I would not be the same person I am today without them – Layah Foley (age 12).
Andi & Ryan went above and beyond helping me choose a horse and they have been with me every step of the way in helping me learn how to ride and care for my horse. – Yakov Foley (age 14).
My kids wanted horses. I met Andi and Ryan and they taught all of us how to select, care for, and ride our horses. These horses have changed our lives and we can only thank Andi and Ryan for their expertise and professionalism helping us become a ranching and riding family. – Jeff Foley
Hi guys. Can’t believe it’s been a year already since Jake made the trip home with us. I thought I’d just drop you a quick note to say that everyone is doing well. There’s never enough time to ride as much as we want, but when we do Jake has been a real gentleman even if it’s been ages since he was saddled up.
Just wanted to thank you once again and let you know how Uno is doing. We went to our first branding together earlier this week and she did
wonderfully. I got several compliments on her. I just finished up working yearlings on her today and am very thankful for such a wonderful horse.
Andi and Ryan really know their stuff. They excel at identifying horses with good temperaments and solid characteristics that are a match for the needs and skills of the rider. Our family benefited tremendously from their expertise , and their willingness to share it.
I first saw Sir Blackburn Hoddy, aka Snoopy, on Union Cattle Company's Facebook page. He is an 8 year old red dun registered quarter horse gelding. He was coming to the end of this training and was to be soon sold.
In June, I had the opportunity to go to Colorado and Union Cattle Company. I met Snoopy, and he was even more beautiful in person. Andi expertly rode him around and demonstrated his capabilities. I knew as soon as I swung my leg over his back: that was where I belonged. He was an absolute dream to ride around the beautiful lush pastures. I could have stayed out there all day. After our ride, I got off of Snoopy and he put his head into my chest and I gave him a hug. It was like he picked me too. From that moment on all I could think about was that horse, Snoopy; about how great of a horse he is and how I had to have him!
Two weeks later and we were off to Colorado to bring my Snoopy home. He is living up to every expectation, is a great horse, and my new best friend. Snoopy was trained by Andi & Ryan Weigel. I highly recommend them for any and all horse training and for honest horse sales.
We contacted Andi at Union Cattle Company when we decided we were ready to venture into horse ownership, and that decision has paid for itself time and time again. I admit that I had a tremendous amount of anxiety when it came to owning horses - I had no experience whatsoever. We started with basic horsemanship and are so grateful for that foundational knowledge. As far as the horses themselves, Meatball was the perfect first horse for us. A draft cross gentle giant gelding, Meatball stands at 15.2 hands and weighs about 1500 pounds. Taking lessons from Andi with Meatball was invaluable because she was able to point out behaviors that are not typical in all horses, which made us feel great about our investment. Meatball is so gentle that when we made the mistake of buying a horse elsewhere and were able to compare the two, we could see that not every horse deserves that description! We learned the hard way that being patient and letting Andi find the right one for us was definitely the way to go. In addition to our lessons and purchasing horses, we have also hired the Weigels to evaluate a pasture we wanted to lease, and their insights and ideas helped us tremendously. Both of us walk away from every lesson and interaction marveling at how much we don’t know and feeling gratitude for the insights we gained. Most importantly, we have learned from Andi and Ryan’s example and experience the value of horsemanship itself - respecting the animals, caring for their well-being, paying attention to their cues and developing mutual trust, and learning how to do things correctly for the safety of both humans and horses. Novice owners and experienced alike can trust that Andi and Ryan will be knowledgeable and honest when it comes to all things horses!
